Spring Hair Styles. Spring is here, it’s time to update your hair with the newest style to welcome beautiful spring. This time of year, when spring has sprung and the creative itch needs scratching! Amid the eclectic mix of vibes and looks from fashion designers for the Spring collections, I’ve noticed a handful of key hair trends that are surfacing consistently. Shiny curtains of prim and polished hair make us want to yawn. It’s as if all desire and interest have been tamed right out of it. What we’re craving now is hair abandoned to its own sensuous whims and capricious wisps ‑- sexy-messy hair! A little Afro-esque and reminiscent of ’70s spice, it features curls and a touch of frizz in layered shapes, which creates round volume. If the hair has layers, just curl it with a one-inch or smaller barrel iron and comb it through with the fingers, and that’s the result you’ll get.
Curls are around for the long haul it seems, with super soft and styled or textured and frizzy for those of you who are looking for something more individual. If you are new to curls it is best to start off little by little as a dramatic change can often be a shock and put you off for life. Keep the hair on top flat and straight, creating the curls in the mid lengths and ends of the hair. If you like it then gradually develop it to create more curls, and more adventurous styles incorporating different types of curls and textured frizz. If you don’t like curly hair, making the big chop is always a popular move in the spring. One of the shorter styles that has become very mod is the shaggy layered ‘do recently made popular by film actress Sienna Miller. Graduated layers with long bangs offer a feminine look that, if cut right, can be a great wash-and-go style. To master shorter looks, use a non-greasy paste that gives your hair some definition and edge, like Bed Head’s Hard to Get. Houshmand considers it a great finishing product, especially for short hair.

Oh to have thin and straight hair like most of the women whose pictures are featured here. It seems that having very curly thick hair is a curse, because I could never achieve the hairstyle that any of the women who are pictured here have. I guess that is why Vidal Sassoon once said: “Women with curly hair should just put a bag over their heads.” He never worked with women with curly hair. Made me feel terrible for having very curly hair.
hi Lily, curly and thick hair is not a curse, it can be beautiful if you know how to style it. You can also try to straighten it by using flat iron, and try to see the result.
